In order to meet mental health needs within the community during the current global health crisis, we at Associates in Psychology are offering videoconferencing and telephone appointments to safely support new, former, and on-going clients. We are informed by managed care and insurance companies that telehealth and telephone sessions are generally reimbursed as regular sessions in order to ensure easy access to mental health services during this uncertain and anxiety- provoking period. In addition, at such time as we return to in-person sessions, we will adhere to state and national health guidelines regarding Covid-19 to ensure the safety of our clients and ourselves. Please directly contact Ramsay and Associates individual clinicians for appointments.

Dr. Jason T. Ramsay

Throughout my career I have worked with patients who have sustained motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries and have assisted on medical-legal cases. I provide therapy for those who are part of this difficult situation in order to help rehabilitate them so they can go back to enjoying the life they once had. At times part of their treatment can involve standardized testing and assessments which I'm certified to do. Please have your lawyer or case manager contact me for more information. This process is always provided under the supervision of a psychologist.

I specialize in the assessment and treatment of adults. I provide a full range of assessments including medlegal assessment. I provide psychological treatment for survivors of trauma including workplace and motor vehicle accidents, including work -related psychological injuries, abuse, bullying and life transitions.

I am an adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University Health Sciences as well as an Executive member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Psychological Association. I am an enthusiastic sharer of information about psychology and offer in-service consultations, workshops, seminars and lectures. I was born and raised in Niagara..
